Calendar for Electronic Card Activity Report (ECAR) Processing
Re-printing a lost or misplaced purchasing card activity report
This report is a facsimile of an official Purchasing Card Activity Report (CAR/ECAR) when the original has been lost or misplaced. Report must be completed & returned with applicable receipts to the purchasing card program in Disbursement Services, per the established procedures. This shared query cannot be used to create blank or new card activity reports--it can only be used to reprint a report.
1. Open a Web browser and go to this URL: https://financial.reports.umn.edu/
2. You may be asked to log on using your Internet ID and password.
If asked to log in, enter your ID and password. If you are not asked to log in, it means you have a valid security cookie in your Web browser from the Central Authentication Hub (CAH).
3. Select the button for Shared Queries.
4. Find the query called Purchasing Card Activity Report, CAR or ECAR - Reprint and click once on the Go button.
5. Enter the CUFS PV number for the report you want to re-print (purchasing card activity report number). This is an eleven character field. Hint: the PV number will start with one of the following: CCD then a number; CCDX then a number; or CCDF then a number.
6. Click once on the Continue button. The report should load within 15 seconds, or so.
7. Print the report.
Be aware that these reports need to be printed landscape, and if your Web browser has font sizes set to larger than normal, you may need to scale the printing down to get it to fit on the paper from side-to-side. Another option is to change the font size for display/printing to a smaller size.
Please ensure your print settings are such that the report prints out one-page wide, by one or more pages long (depending on how many purchasing card transactions are included).
Consult your local technical support person for assistance with printing issues, or contact 1-HELP and ask for assistance configuring a Web browser to print.
Tips:
There are several settings on a Web browser that can affect how something prints out. In Netscape, check under the Edit menu, Preferences, Appearance, Fonts, and change the sizes of the variable and fixed width fonts used. Or check the screen resolution for your monitorbelieve it or not, this can affect how Web pages print. Or try changing the settings in the print dialog boxthere are many different settings available, and the printer driver being used by your computer can affect which settings are available to be changed.
